''Only one thing is important. Mary has made the right choice, and it will never be taken away from her.”- Jesus (Luke 10:42)
I really believe in the Lord's vision for his People. It is such a beautiful, whole, and joy-filled vision. A vision of oneness, love, devotion, peace, and power operating through love in all of God's people.
Brother loving brother.
Sister esteeming sister.
Living in the world but not of it.
Being daily sanctified by his spirit and word
In everything loving and serving in the purity of heart, mind, and deed.
Lamps burning and eyes set in eagerness, awaiting the coming of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, who will reward every man according to his deeds.
Yes, I believe in the vision of our Lord Jesus Christ and his heartfelt prayer to the Father:
''I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.'' John 17:11
This desire I live to do. This Jesus' prayer - a prayer for the power of the Father to protect our oneness - is his desire. No matter what the evil one does, can we believe YHWH's power?
What do you see? What do you desire? What do you believe?
What we see, desire, or take on as absolute Truth is dependent on our source of information. This in turn depends on who we trust for information.
Jesus said:
“I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.'' John 16:12-14
The will of the Father is the will of Jesus and can only be known by his Spirit.
I recently updated my LinkedIn profile page to reflect my readiness to go all out for Jesus's vision.
I wrote it professionally as a media for professionals requires but truly, what I just wanted to say is: Jesus you called me as your Prophet, I do not know how your vision will be accomplished, or when it will all be fulfilled. My inadequacies are consumed in your adequacy. This is my commitment to go where you lead, say and to do what you say and do, fear no man but love everyone... Here is me, take and use it for whatever you will. To the glory of your name and Kingdom.''
And today's post is His reply, which is:
''Only one thing is important. Mary has made the right choice, and it will never be taken away from her.”
Dear leaders in God's house, Only one thing is needful. To be, see, do, and fulfill all of the Father's desires for us in this world and in this age what is required is a life spent at the feet of the Master.
In ourselves, we will never be good enough. We will never be adequate. Our errors will always seem to outweigh our goodness and our weakness, our strength. But in his presence, we are cleansed of all unrighteousness. By his word, we are renewed, and as Apostle Paul said, ''When I am weak, then I am strong''.
We all have all we truly need. Because all we need HIM - it is in His presence.
As the Spirit stressed to the Prophet Zachariah, concerning the building of God's Temple:
''So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.
“What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘God bless it! God bless it!’”
Then the word of the Lord came to me: “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you.
“Who dares despise the day of small things, since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone in the hand of Zerubbabel?” Zechariah 4:6 -10
His desire (will) will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
Happy Jewish New Year to all our Jewish friends, L'Shana Tovah tikatevu.
''They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.'' John 17:16
''But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.'' 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
